Dave Stewart BA, BSc(Hons), MBA
Group Chief Technology Officer, Dave has more than 30 years experience in the telecoms industry, delivering solutions in high-intensity operational environments, working with a wide range of technologies in a number of management positions, both in the UK and internationally.
Dave has a Group responsibility for the following key areas:
- Ensuring technology standards and protocols are implemented inline with legislative requirements and industry ‘best practice’.
- Planning and implementation of the Group’s short and long-term technology strategies.
- Identifying and overseeing business process driven technology improvements.
- Defining essential education and training requirements for the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the Group’s and its customer’s IT assets.
Dave Joined SLA in January 2005 spending two years successfully building the SLA Mobile business before assuming the Group CTO Role in December 2006. Prior to this he worked as Sales and Business Development Manager with Falcon-Protec and held roles with Aircom International, SDA-Protec Network Solutions.
He also headed of a team of technical consultants to an International Committee for the introduction of European-wide deployable WAN communications systems and Chaired an International Communications Interoperability Working Group.
